2 Months

In Month 2.. We introduced bottles and pacifiers.. experienced baby acne outbreak and cradle cap or what it should really be called which is cradle “crap.” 

I sleep at least 6 hours in the night in co-sleeper or my crib and have an erratic nap schedule; sleeping anywhere but the crib.. some days in 20 minute cat naps and then others sleeping the whole day..

Mommy has hit an all-time record for google searches as she is still trying to wrap her hands around me.

I’ve started to discover my hands putting them into my mouth, praying and twiddling them.. I like to put my thumb between my fingers like a politician..

I’m making coo and aah sounds and sometimes a crackling laugh.. I’ve started to drool just a bit.

Tummy time is new for me.. I'm just starting to build my neck muscles.

This month we left the house.. we visited Nana, Grandpa Pat and Uncle Scott in Novi while Daddy vacationed in Mexico, tailgated in Lansing, gobbled turkey in Rochester with the Malkasian’s and Fenech’s in Ann Arbor and then relaxed at home with Grandma Pat.

This season we celebrate all that we are thankful! We are thankful that for the beautiful gift from god in our daughter Abriella who we are so excited to discover. We are thankful for the love in our marriage. We are thankful for all the help and support we have received from family, friends and co-workers. We are thankful for delivery food, an extra hour of sleep, that breast milk doesn’t stain, white russians and when Abriella smiles during her sleep when you are holding her tight. 

Week 6

When Mommy wanted to buy me a bassinet, Daddy made a prototype. It's sleek and can be rocked by foot.  I can wait to see what Daddy builds next when Mommy wants to buy a doll house, vanity, ballet bar, kitchen and the list goes on..

Sleepy Days..

Maizey and her Mommy came to visit.. Maizey was so much fun! She brought goodies for us and played with Mommy and my dolls. 

Baby Sleep Whisper.. Maggie arrived just in time to show Mommy some new tricks to help me sleep and give her some much needed Mom talk. 

Mom's co-workers made lots of funny onesies for me including this one which says "From now on sleep is Prohibited" an inside joke on several services EY is prohibited from performing for Public Audit Clients.

Week 5

 

Uncle Scott stopped during his cross country driving tour to meet me. He has a beard just like Daddy and warm shoulder to snuggle. 
We went to my very first Mass. I really enjoyed the music and people watching but Daddy is nervous to bring me back because its flu season. 

Grandpa Cliff talked politics and days of picking mushrooms with his Grandpa but I like it when he makes funny noises. 

Moms first lunch outing!  I slept .. it was boring.

Don't even think about putting me in that crib!

Cousin Megan stopped by with my new friend Makenzie. She is 5 1/2 months old.
