Happy Birthday Scott & David!

Scott and David were both born on September 20th but four years apart. In addition to sharing the same birthdate they have also shared the same taste in clothing since birth. As you can see from earlier years, all three Dilworth boys enjoyed dressing alike.

 

 

As they became men, in addition to sharing the same birthdate, taste in clothing; they also seem to get into trouble together.

Last year I visited a Psychic and she said that I married my Soulmate. No matter what we always return to each other. I firmly believe that.. this hot looking man, makes me smile and I am so blessed every moment I spend with him. Happy Anniversary.

Week 38

Week 38. Baby is still head down and slowly moving lower into place as evident to my complete loss of bladder control, extra weight on right side pelvic bone (her favorite side) and she is bumping into nerves causing pain down my inner thigh which is known as "lightening crotch.". Increased hormones combined with typing on keyboard, has cause arthritis like pain in my hands, which is exacerbated by at night when I unknowingly clinch my hands into fist. But all and all..it's really not too bad.
Today is my last day of work and Im excited to tackle my nesting list of to dos.. before this baby arrives.

Car Seat Inspection

Numerous people have highly recommended that we have are installed car seat inspected. So I signed both of us up, as we have one car seat and two bases. I told David, that our car seat "inspectation" was tonight and asked if he could put the seat in the cars. David put the car seat still in its box in my trunk. Really??? I thought I had explained that it was an "inspection" and not an "installation."
Lucky for him, he charmed the ladies at the inspection and quickly installed the bases getting a thumbs up for the first attempt.
We also learned the proper way to put the baby in the car seat, which we both passed with flying colors.
We learned about not having "projectiles" in the car, which means that Daddy can't have fishing rods and lures hanging from the Pilot's celing and Mommy can't have the mirror to see the baby rear facing. The reason why is because upon impact that mirror can hit the baby at the same speed the car is moving and cause more damage than the actual car collision.
The hospital requires a properly installed car seat and Pediatrician to take the baby home. We now have one down.

Yes, You can still bike when pregnant

Yes, I still hop on the bike with big belly around the block however I think that I may just be walking from here out.

We took a little escape about an hour away and rented a cabbin on Bass Lake in Pentwater. http://basslakeresortmi.com/
A little babymoon, some quite time before the baby arrives, where we can sleep in and enjoy the silence.
Pentwater, MI which is just south of Ludington is my new favorite Michigan town. A short drive from the cabin, we were able to relax on Lake Michigan. The water was cystal clear and just breathtaking.
Pentwater has a little dowtown with lots of cute shops and resturants along the water. It has a yummy ice cream place who said they would consider naming my favorite blizzard mixture the "prego lady" which consist of twist ice cream, hot fudge, carmal and peanut butter cups. its seriously the best.
We also visited the Siver Lake Dunes and hit up the Apple + BBQ festival. Yum!

Week 37

Week 37. We are now Full Term. Yippee. This means that the baby has developed her most critical functions. It also means that the baby may come any time but don't worry, as of yesterday's doctor appt, she is head down, still high and I am not dilated. This little girl listens to her Momma, who still has another 5 days of work and nesting list longer then her.
