Yellow Bus

 

For the last three weeks Mom has been waking me up singing Rise and Shine give God Your Glory because it's time for SCHOOL.. 

It's been rough because I like to sleep in but she has been persistent.

Dad drops me off 8 am at and Mom picks me up at 3ish.

Mrs Misti is my primary teacher .. she is super sweet.

 

Mrs Misti sends Mom and Dad text and photos updates of me.. so they feel assured that I am ok. 

4 Months

 Look who's 4 Months..

 I love to read books and put things in my mouth.

  My neck is really strong and can sit up against a prop.

 I only pout when I don't get my way.. which is rare.. so usually I am all smiles..

 I'm too cute.

I talk and talk and talk..

Snowed In

 Mom tried to comb my hair down but let's be honest .. It's just not me!

 Dad and I like to read books after a long day of work..

 

I like to hold the book and turn the pages..

 Our last full week of Mom's maternity leave.. she is fun but I can't wait to make new friends my own age.

 Dad had the flu so we quarantined him to the office. After five days we noticed that he was eating Haagen-Dazs ice creams and probably sneaking in beers so we figured it was time that he gave Mom some relief but to be safe we made him wear a mask.

 I hold my own bottle.

 I do video chats.. Please call I like it playing peek a boo.

 Giggles..

 Mom is really into sensory experiences and wanted me to feel snow..

 Instead I ate it.. ha ha ha ha ha ha

Rolling Rolling Rolling!

With no help from Mom or Dad.. I woke up from my nap, pushed myself up and then rolled over from tummy to back.. Watch out guys.. I'm on a roll!

For the last four months, I have spent most of my naps and bedtime on a warm chest..

 

Who wouldn't want to sleep here.. it's warm.. it's close to food ... I can snuggle.. 

 

Often Myia the cat joins in too.. 

Mom doesn't get much.. well actually Mom gets nothing done.. but who needs to brush their teeth?

Now with Mom going back to work and me to school, Mom decided it was time that I slept in the crib.

At first I didn't understand why Mom wasn't picking me up?

So I gave her the stare down.

Then I reached out to her..

I started off in the middle but you can see how I moved over to Mommy. 

I gave up on Mommy and soon fell asleep.. just whimpering a bit (i think Mommy shed a tear too!)

 

I woke up a bit confused ... 

 

but happy as ever.. 

Brrrrr!

Uncle Scott visited me before heading back to the West Coast. 

He makes lots of funny faces!

 

He gave me a bottle, help Dad set up my jumper and played with me! 

Tummy time is more fun when looking at myself!

Grandma Pat + Poppie visited this month but Mom was taking some time off and forgot to get a picture.. silly Mommy!

I love when I can see myself on Mom's camera phone.

 

It's even better, when Mom takes a video and then I get to watch it!

 

Nana + Grandpa Pat stopped by for the day to give Mom a break while Daddy was away at work.

A Toast to 2013

In 2012 we celebrated nine years of being together of which two married; we became a "family" with the birth of Abriella; I gained and lost 40 lbs; while David grew and shaved off 10 lbs of facial hair; we moved once again to 4389 Braeburn; David sold wobbly boxes, while I continued to sit in front of a computer all day;  we slept in and got drunk without care (well, david did) for the last time in a long time.

In 2013 we toast to another year of good health, prosperity and love!
